ThinkEngine's SIP application server permits third party devices to fully control the VSR1000 media server. ThinkEngine has eased the requirements for SIP programming by abstracting the SIP messaging between the VSR and application server. Developers use a rich library of functions which are abstracted from the nuances of SIP to control functionality such as make_call, answer_call, play_prompt, collect_digits, add_to_conference, etc. The SIP Application Server controls all SIP messaging and state requirements allowing the engineer to focus on application development, rather than SIP interoperability.
ThinkEngine's SIP application server is in deployment at many conference service providers as well as tier 1 LECs implementing system critical services on a daily basis.
